From then to Now

Shelly's Salsa recipe originated from her mother's family dating back to Colonial Warez Old Mexico. The family migrated to Colonial Juarez Old Mexico because of the Mexican Revolutionary War. The recipe was passed down to Michelle's mother Moneta. Moneta grew up with a mother who had a passion for cooking. Upon marrying Bob Oates, Moneta and Bob moved to Arizona where the Salsa recipe was perfected. Michelle has two sisters who all began cooking at a young age. Michelle especially loved making the family salsa recipe for special family occasions. Michelle's father and sister entered Michelle in "Nana's Salsa Challenge" for the Arizona Hemophilia Association. Shelly Salsa took first place for the "Peoples Choice Award"! After winning the contest Michelle continued selling her fresh salsa at local farmers markets and town fairs. Michelle has packaged the amazing salsa seasonings with a shopping list and simple directions included, so you can now make your own fresh salsa!
